Quick Lane Service Advisor

New Brighton Ford is seeking a highly motivated Quick Lane Service Advisor to join our team. Dealership experience with high volume and high sales is preferred.

Responsibilities of this position:

  • Ensure customers receive courteous, prompt and effective service.
  • Greet and assist customers with inquiries during their visit.
  • Detailed documentation of the customer's concerns - enabling the technician to properly diagnose and service the vehicle.
  • Consult with the customer regarding recommended maintenance.
  • Inform customer on completion times, service expenses, and any changes.
  • Remain involved until the customer picks up the vehicle to ensure all concerns have been addressed.
  • Build a relationship with the customer by spending time providing concierge support for all owner inquiries, via phone or in person, and assure the customer is not mishandled.
  • Have knowledge of the product to properly answer operational and characteristic questions regarding the customer's vehicle.

Requirements for this position:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Background in sales.
  • Ability to multitask and take direction.
  • Proficient in using computers and software programs on a daily basis.
  • Create and maintain a close relationship with each customer.

New/Used Vehicle Lot Manager

We currently have a position open for a New/Used Vehicle Lot Manager. Responsibilities will include keeping our display lot full and organized. You will work with both the New and Used Vehicle Managers assisting in all aspects of vehicle display. Lot Manager will also be responsible for the check-in and inspection of all new and pre-owned vehicles. This position will require outside work for about 50% of the work day and extended time on your feet.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining an organized sales lot
  • Filling in empty inventory spots on the front line
  • Checking inventory in to stock
  • Other duties as assigned by Sales Managers

Used Car Sales Manager

Saxon's New Brighton Ford is a family owned and operated automotive dealership in the Twin Cities. We're seeking a Used Vehicle Manager to join our Sales team. You will be responsible for all used vehicle sales at the dealership.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquisition, reconditioning and remarketing pre-owned vehicles
  • Manage vehicle inventory, focusing on Retail
  • Hands-on closing deals on sales floor, willing to engage customers early in the process
  • Forecast goals and objectives for sales, and gross on a monthly and annual basis

Automotive Diesel Technician

New Brighton Ford is a family owned and operated automotive dealership in the Twin Cities. We're seeking an Automotive Diesel Technician to join our service team.

Diesel Technicians are tasked with repairing the most challenging and time-sensitive problems that vehicles have when they arrive at the service department. Diesel technicians also may spend much of their time diagnosing and repairing unusual problems, rather than conducting more routine vehicle service or simple repairs.

Duties:

  • Conferring with customers or service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
  • Examining vehicles to determine wear and extent of damage or malfunctions.
  • Testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
  • Ensuring that the shop is in excellent condition in regard to cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition, and conducting periodic spot checks to maintain high-quality service.
  • Test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous Diesel Technician experience is preferred.
  • Ford certification is a plus, but not required.

The Automotive Detailing Specialist will be responsible for preparing all new and pre-owned vehicles for delivery to customers or to our car lot. This is an important and vital role to ensure customer satisfaction. This position has an immediate effect on how customers view New Brighton Ford's automotive delivery process and how a new car looks to a new car buyer.

Job Duties:

  • Drive vehicles through an automated car wash
  • Hand dry and polish auto exteriors
