New Brighton Ford, a family owned and operated dealership is seeking a Full-time/part-time Shuttle Driver.

POSITION INFORMATION

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for receiving incoming service vehicles, service delivery, ensuring the service drive is clean and free of clutter. In addition, you will be responsible for washing vehicles, light filing/clerical duties and light janitorial work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guide and Park Incoming Service Vehicles
• Deliver Customer Vehicle Pick Up
• Perform any other duties as requested by Management
• Pick up and deliver customers vehicles or customer themselves to their home or offices
• Test drive vehicles
• Keep service write up area clean and free from clutter (Including windows, floors, desks, etc)
• Wash vehicles and ensure they are wiped down (appropriate vehicles)
• File service hard copies in their appropriate location
• Clean outside the shop doors (garbage, wipe down doors, clean windows etc)
• Wash shuttle vehicles (evening and weekend shifts)

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Maintain a valid Driver's license and a good driving record
• Must be a team player

New Brighton Ford has Openings for Automotive Technician's

We have two openings within our Repair Shop due to a few of our skilled technicians retiring!  These positions available are for those technicians that enjoy a challenge and take great pride in repairing vehicles.  The positions are Full-Time Union positions that include a great Benefits Package!  A few notable items within the Benefits Package are; an available Pension and an excellent Health Care Plan!

Based off of qualifications and experience, signing bonuses are available.

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and enjoys it!
• Has some dealership experience, but certainly isn't required
• Believes that they're good enough to work side by side with the most skilled technicians
• Will continue with their education and/or remain compliant to the Manufacturer Training Guidelines
• Has good computer skills (and isn't afraid of them)
• Does need to be 18 years of age or older
• Will need a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, lower, push, leverage, manipulate equipment and be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Is reliable
• Is able to pass a background test/drug screening
• Wants to work hard, have a little fun, but most importantly, WIN!!

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned. All work performed must be in accordance with dealer and manufacturers specification and standards.

Automotive Product Specialists' Job Duties: Understand our product line by studying their features and benefits; comparing and contrasting competitive models; develop buyers by building and maintaining rapport; qualify buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests and matching them with the right products; demonstrate our products to the potential buyers; close sales and overcome objections; negotiate price; complete all necessary paperwork; deliver vehicles to the buyers.

Automotive Product Specialists' Required Skills/Qualifications: Self-starter, good communicator, telephone skills, listening skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction!

Workload: Expect to work 42-48 hours a week at a minimum, including Saturdays.

Our compensation plans are second to none. We offer an hourly rate of $16.00 an hour plus unit bonuses and factory incentives for salespeople new to our industry. Our salespeople make an average of $35,000 to $70,000 1st year plus excellent benefits including health care and paid training. We also have a commission based pay plan for the experienced sales person. Our top producers earn over $100,000!

We do require a good driving record and the ability to pass a drug and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

The Parts Department at New Brighton Ford is growing and we need to add a full-time Parts Counter Person. We are a very busy retail and wholesale parts distribution center. The person we are looking for will need to be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills. You must be able to work well in a fast paced team environment. Heavy lifting is required (75 lb. maximum) along with forklift operation in this position. We are looking for a highly detailed person that can provide excellent customer service by listening to our customers' inquiries and requests, asking questions to ensure understanding of needs, and supplying parts in a timely manner. There will be other responsibilities and assigned duties as determined by the Parts Department Manager. The hours will be from 9AM-6PM Tuesday-Friday and 7AM-1PM on Saturday. Pay will be based on union scale and experience. Applicants will be subjected to a drug test, background check and a review of their driving record.
